ARC Billet Sidecover, Flathead

Description

By placing two bearings side-by-side on the PTO side of the crankshaft, we reduce crankflex by up to 40%. Flex is a major cause of crankshaft breakage. This kid includes cam bearing support, upper oil fill, lower oil level check port, side mounted oil drain plug, threaded bosses for easy removal, and a full perimeter gasket. These sidecovers are CNC machined from 6061 T-6 aluminum and feature flat inner walls that provide maximum oil dispersal. It also has a heavy duty crank bearing boss and an indexed crank seal boss. Features include ball bearing cam support, top mounted oil filler, side mounted oil drain, and threaded dowl bosses for easy removal. This kit comes complete with mounting hardware, gasket, cam bearing, drain plug, 2 billet oil camps and dual crank bearings. This kit will not work with the old Briggs .787 gear crankshaft.
